One of the goals of the NC Fetal Alcohol Prevention Program is to provide resources for families who have a child with an FASD and professionals who work with pregnant women, women of childbearing age and families.

Support Group
Triangle Area FASD Support Group
Support group for parents / caregivers of those with or suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Free monthly meetings are held in Raleigh, North Carolina and are confidential, with adjacent room for children to interact. MEETS MONTHLY ON THE THIRD MONDAY of each month (except June & July)

The Double ARC center for FASD at A Renewed Mind – You can join us from anywhere to get the support you need. Using a computer or tablet or smart phone with a microphone and camera, you can connect and talk with parents from around the country and world! Thanks to your input, we have expanded our time for support to include a daytime option on the 4th Monday of the month from 10:30-11:30am.

Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD): A Comprehensive Guide for Pre-K – 8 Educators
This guide is designed for every educator (e.g., teachers, special education teachers, resource specialists, speech and language specialists, school nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists) who works with K-8 elementary and middle school level students.
